Halfresh x Alimentaria 2026
Here’s a recap of our visit to the event.
On March 24, one of our representatives had the pleasure of visiting Alimentaria Barcelona 2026. Short reads are becoming increasingly popular, so here’s a brief summary of our impressions, along with some photos.
It was a busy day during which we could see the growth of the food industry and this event, both nationally and internationally.
We also observed the extensive local network of food companies across different regions of Spain: Catalonia, Andalusia, Castile-La Mancha, the Basque Country, etc. And the corresponding interest that Spanish products generate among foreign companies.
One particularly interesting aspect was the variety: there was everything from talks by leading figures in the culinary field to competitions, such as the eye-catching latte art contest.
Throughout the day, we had the opportunity to speak with people from various sectors to understand how Halfresh can address the needs emerging in the industry.
We also took note of current food trends in the market, with a particular focus on nut butters and organic foods. There is a growing and genuine interest in healthy eating and reducing the consumption of ultra-processed foods.
Finally, we would like to congratulate the organizers of Alimentaria 2026 + Hostelco for this meticulously planned event, and we look forward to seeing you next year.
