New version of the Q250 cheese cutting machine!
Introducing the upgraded version of the Q250 cheese cutting machine—safety and efficiency for your business.
Many cheese shops face the constant task of cutting cheese into wedges or other shapes. A few years ago, we invented the Q250 to completely eliminate the use of knives and other manual methods in cheese shops and supermarkets.
This machine has increased productivity, improved hygiene, and, above all, enhanced workplace safety in various businesses in the food sector, such as the Bon Preu supermarket chain.
After a lot of hard work over the past year, we are very pleased to have launched our new cheese slicer this month: the Q250 v2.
What are the most significant changes in this model?
- Aesthetic improvements: We have completely redesigned the machine’s visual identity to highlight its modernity and elegance, since these machines are typically on display to the public.
- Switch from electronic to electrical system: We observed that in businesses located in areas with frequent power surges and drops, the electronic circuit board suffered significant damage; in the new model, the internal components are electrical. The electrical system shuts down to prevent damage to the machine and can be easily reset using a circuit breaker designed to restore power in seconds.
-
Improved blade non-stick properties: We’ve found a much better treatment for the blade that keeps it almost clean after cutting wedges.
-
Improved protection in the blade’s upward and downward travel areas: The previous machine had a brush in the areas where the blade moves up and down. Now we have an adjustable plastic piece that provides even greater protection for the internal mechanism against accidental damage, preventing liquids or debris from entering the interior.
-
Easier portion guide: We’ve created new markings to make cutting into 8 or 12 portions (the most common number of cuts) easier and more intuitive.
-
Redesigned clamping mechanism to apply greater pressure to the cheese while holding it in place for cutting, resulting in an even cleaner cut.
Here’s a video showing how it works:
All the trials have been a success, and we're very pleased with the results. Several of them are already working at various establishments both in Spain and even outside of Europe.
